Nowadays, most of the people that live in Magic City Trailer park are hispanic, especially from Central America. They were very nice and humble, and some of them even invited me into their homes.

I started this project in spring 2009. I was taking a class of B/W film photography again after 5 years of using digital. It has been a great experience.. I love B/W film and working in lab, and even though I don't like the chemicals, I can spend hours there..
I'm currently shooting other trailer parks and will soon scan some new work.

Magic City Trailer park is located in the middle of Little Haiti, and it was founded in the 1920's.
The first day I went, I found out that tourists from Canada would come to this place to spend winter... Very smart! You can find more information in this link..

Now is the moment...

Opening my blog was one of my 2010 new year's resolution... then I realized that it was actually 2009's.. so here it is <3

Suddenly I feel like I have to rush even more before the end of the year.

2009 started steady.. then it felt stagnating. Now everything is accelerating again, and it feels great!!!
